Timer data

For each timer, the service stores the title, elapsed time, running state, split names and times, and a hashed version of its private control key. Timer data lives in Cloudflare Durable Objects. There is currently no user account system.

Local storage and access links

Your browser may store the last control link, its key and overlay appearance settings in localStorage. The private control URL contains a secret after #. Anyone with that complete URL can change the timer. Do not share it or include it in screenshots.

Abuse prevention and service infrastructure

To limit automated timer creation, the server hashes the connecting IP address and tracks recent creation timestamps for a short rolling window. Requests are processed by Cloudflare, which may process network and security metadata under its own policies. The service does not currently run a separate analytics SDK.

Public overlay information

The public OBS link can reveal the timer title, elapsed time, running status and splits to anyone who knows that URL. Avoid placing personal information in a timer name or split label.

Advertising and consent

This version does not activate advertising by itself. If Google AdSense is enabled later, advertising scripts may use cookies or other identifiers and this notice must be updated. For applicable European traffic, an appropriate certified consent management platform must be configured before ads are enabled. The OBS overlay is excluded from ad scripts.

Requests and changes

For questions about stored timer data or this notice, use the Contact page. There is no self-service timer deletion or key recovery yet. Do not assume timers are backed up indefinitely; keep your own results record.
